What Is It?
Notice to all users of Reputation Management: Facebook has recently updated their review system.
Facebook has retired the star rating system. Now, when your customers want to write a review, they can choose to recommend or not recommend your Business Page. Facebook has created an opportunity to encourage your customers to write a more in-depth and valuable recommendation.
How Does It Work?
Recommendations are powerful endorsements. When customers publicly recommend you in a Group or to their friends, it will appear on your Business Page for all to see. You are able to easily report unfair recommendations. To do this, select “Give Feedback” in the post menu to report content that you believe is unfair or spam.
We are scaling the reviews as 5 Star for “Recommended” or 1 Star for “Not Recommended” respectively. We currently have access to pull in and respond to these recommendations from within our platform, for authenticated Facebook accounts.
As Facebook continues to roll out this new feature they will be increasing access to more accounts by early next week. All ratings created after August 13 will use this new review parameter and will be accessible within the Reputation Management platform.
We are working towards more exciting features to further accommodate these changes and optimize this new recommendation process. Stay tuned for more information on this, coming soon.
